Karen Moody
President

Karen began her career in the pharmaceutical industry in 1987 with The Bayer Corporation. During her tenure, she worked as an educator, coordinator and clinical monitor in both the pharmaceutical and biological divisions. Ms. Moody has been exposed to a multitude of clinical environments and has worked closely with pharmacists, pharmacy-purchasing agents, nurses and doctors. While at Bayer, she gained invaluable knowledge and experience. As a result, she was afforded the opportunity to choose positions that offered her continuing education and greater involvement in cutting edge pharmaceutical advancements. Following her career at Bayer, Ms. Moody accepted a position with The Liposome Company. Subsequent to that, she accepted a position at Centocor where she gained experience in the field of monoclonal antibody technology. The experience she acquired with these companies served as a catalyst. She decided to expand into a different arena within the pharmaceutical industry – distribution. In 1997, Ms. Moody was offered a position with a mid-size wholesale distributor. Within the first month, she was the Top Producing Sales Representative. She maintained that stratospheric title for the length of her employment with the organization. This ongoing success in her career was the foundation in her decision to take on a more straightforward challenge. Hence, the creation of Atlantic Biologicals.
